Staff & Training

Rosefern Residential Home is staffed to ensure that all service users needs are met. The staffing levels usually are 3 staff in a morning and one on call, 2/3 staff in the evening and one on call.  One waking night duty with a sleeping night duty which can be called upon if needed. At present Rosefern’s staff team comprises of 10 females and one male. The staff turn over is quite low as the majority of our staff have been under our employ for a number of years ranging from our longest acting employee of 12 years, then it goes to 8years, 5 years, 3 years, 2 years and our newest employee has worked for us for just a year. 

At Rosefern Residential Home we pride ourselves in ensuring that our staff are well trained in all aspects of their job and that their training is regularly updated. We feel that it is important to have well trained staff that work well as part of a team and also show initiative. Training ensures that staff are knowledgeable which then builds confidence and self esteem, this along with experience ensures that the service users are receiving the quality care that they deserve in a happy, warm and friendly home.

At present Rosefern Residential Home has of 11 employees consisting of a Manager, Trainee Deputy Manager, 2 Senior Care Staff and 7 Care Staff. All the staff have of are working towards or already have the following qualifications:-

    • The Administration and Control of Medicines
    • Multi-Agency Adult Protection
